Senior Warden
Sherilyn was confirmed as an Episcopalian in 2009 in Midland, Texas, and joined Resurrection after moving to Wise County in 2017. While at St. Nicholas Church in Midland, she served as lector and rang in the handbell choir. Here at Resurrection, she has served as lector, usher, as a member of altar guild, and on the Bishop’s Committee as a member and now as Senior Warden.

Ellen has been an Episcopalian for over 60 years.
At Resurrection, Ellen has served on the bishop’s committee and is currently bishop’s
committee clerk. She is a licensed Lay Eucharistic Minister, altar guild director, and
serves as usher, lector, acolyte, and historian.

serves as usher, lector, acolyte, and historian.
Before Resurrection, Ellen was the first secretary for The Episcopal Student Center at
Texas A&M, working for the Chaplain. She attended St. Thomas in College Station and
was a member of the choir. Later, she became the first secretary for the mission of St.
Matthew’s Episcopal Church, DeSoto, TX (now the parish of St. Anne Episcopal
Church). During her time at St. Anne, Ellen was also active in Daughters of the King
and flower guild.
Her last occupation before coming to Resurrection was Administrative Assistant to the
Vice President of Athletics at The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX.
Her hobbies include reading, patio gardening, and fishing.
